CYP + INSIGHT OUT THERAPY & WELLNESS!
We’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with Insight Out Therapy & Wellness, a Latina and Black-owned private practice dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for mental health. With a mission to ensure every individual feels seen, heard, and valued, Insight Out specializes in providing compassionate care tailored to the unique challenges faced by diverse communities, particularly Black and Latinx individuals.
Beginning soon, this partnership will offer vital mental health services to CYP youth and their families, including individual therapy, professional consultations, and community connections to educational resources.
MFGA + CYP!
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new tutoring program at the Marshall Field Garden Apartments! Starting October 21st, Chicago Youth Programs will bring educational support directly to the children in this vibrant community of over 2,000 low-income residents. This initiative empowers young learners right where they live, fostering academic growth and building a brighter future.
NEW CYP TUTORING PROGRAM AT UIC SCHOOL OF PHARMACY!
We’re excited to kick off a regular tutoring program for North Lawndale children at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Pharmacy, starting October 10th! This partnership opens doors for our young learners, providing them with invaluable academic resources and mentorship in a dynamic environment. Together, we’re paving the way for success and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
ON THE HORIZON EXCITING NEW INITIATIVES!
We have some thrilling programs on the way! We’re tentatively launching our Read to Me program at Northwestern-Prentice Hospital on October 20, aimed at nurturing early literacy skills in young children.
Additionally, this winter, we hope to introduce a Parent Run Evening Preschool (PREP) at the Marshall Field Apartments, fostering a collaborative learning environment for parents and their little ones.
We’re particularly excited about the renovation of the Front area of CYP into an Alumni and Community Programming Center.
