"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."--Winston Churchill
Our Chicago Youth Programs volunteers are the pillar of our program model. They selflessly donate their time to our youth, helping them navigate academic challenges, being mentors, advocates and even sounding boards for them. Without their dedication, the impact of our programs would be greatly diminished.
We currently have over 600 volunteers that carry our work forward. They come from institutions, companies, and partner organizations across the city, including:
- Chicago Cares
- Loyola University
- Northwestern University
- Northwestern Memorial Hospital
- NU Law
- NU Med
- NU Physical Therapy
- People's Gas
- Prentice Women’s Hospital
- Prudential Plaza
- University of Chicago
We are currently working with our university partners to develop an approach that will allow VPCs to earn semester or quarter credit hours for their efforts!
Once completed send your Volunteer Application to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer with Chicago Youth Programs, download and complete our Volunteer Application. If you are interested in the role of VPC, please be sure to indicate that in the appropriate section on the form.
